Five Years for Receiving Stolen Goods.
(FEU PBESS ASSOCIATION ) Napier, Tbis Day. At the Supreme Court Michael Alexander for receiving goods knowing same to have been dishonestly obtained was sentenced to five years' penal servitude, the Chief Justice remarking society bad to be protected against such men for whom it was necessary to provide extraordinary severe punishment.
