An Alarming Report.

ALLEGED INCENDIARISM CONSPIUACY. - -• [Per Press Association.] Wkllinoion. June 17. The Ever ing Post gives credence to the statement tlmt precautions are now being adopted for watching the exteriors of the Government Buildings, Government House and Parliamentary Buildings at night. The reason for this, it is stated, is the receipt of information by Government from a reliable source of an incendiary conspiracy to set the Government Buildings on fire, ami it is believed that the design included the simultaneous firing of Government House and Parliamentary Buildings. Two sentry boxes are being erected at the rear of the Departmental Buildings and a number of men are at work cutting away the dense undergrowth in the shrubbery in such a way that sentries can see under the trees, and in order to prevent these being used as a cover for incendiaries.
