The New Zealand Land Association report as follows for the week ending June 15th : — Wool. — Sinco tur last report nothing fresh has occurred in the market for this staple. Ouly small lots of crutchings and stragglers' wool are coming forward for local sale, and these command fair attention. Latest cable advices from London report the close of the third series on the 31st ult, with a further fall m quotations. The fourth series are fixed to commence on the Ist prbx. Sheepskins. — Moderate supplies have come forward during the past month, and notwithstanding the resent fire at the boiling-down worki of the Wellington Meat Export Company at Ngahauranga, killing operations have not been sns« ponded. Present quotations are as follow :— Best factory crossbreds, fullwooiled, 4s to 4? 9d ; half woolled, 3s 2d to 3s 9J ; inferior and late shorn, 2s to 2s lid ; pelts 1 s Gil Station skins have only come forward in small supply, and in mfi-nor condition, many of the pelts having been scorched in the drying, and in several cases faulty condition was traceable to bad bu'ehering. We quote recent sales asunder: — Full- woolled, 3a 64 to 3s 10J ; half woolled, 2s Gd to 3s • pelt* 41 to Is. Grass Seed.— The demand for autumn sowidk has now vir!u.lly ceased, and stocks in the South are reported heav.r, so that the present quotations should be somewhat easier for spring demand. Hops.— Litest advices from Australia 1 report that brewers wiil shortly be operat ing if prices are suitable and quality is prime. Present quotation for fair to good quality is 10£-i per lb, f o.b-.
