The Frozen Meat Trade.
- — ♦ ■ A NEW STEAMER TO BE BUILT. THE ENGLISH MARKET GLUTTED. (PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, June 13. The deficiency in finding cold storage accommodation in London increases and the market is glutted with meat. The Shaw Saville Coy., has given an order for the construction of a new steamer of eight thousand tons with carrying capacity for eighty thousand carcases of frozen meat.
