THIS DAY. (Before Mr Brabant, S.M ) H. Hickford v. A. Lyou ; claim i.*3o 9s. Mr Prior for plaiutiff. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs 30s, solicitor's fee 21s. D. Johnston v. John Cowdry ; claim £1 ls. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs 12s. E. Martin v. D. Sanson ; claim 2s 6d. Mr Saudi'.auds for plaiutiff. Judgment for amouut claimed, with costs 10s. 11. Pickering v. W. Tborburn ; claim £3 15s 10d. Mr Prior for plaiutiff. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs ss, solicitor's fee 10s. H. Pickering v. W. Shaw ; claim 17s 2d. Mr Prior for plaintiff. Judgmeut for amount claimed, with costs 6s. Bank of New Zealaud (Palmerston N.) v. F. Keen ; claim I*lo 12s 3d, amount of promissory note. Mr Prior for plaintiff. C. E. Bryce, accountant, gave evidence for the plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs 20s, solicitor's fee 15s 6d. A. K. Blundell v. Ceo. Kidd. This was a charge laid by the luspector of Stock, Mr Blundell, against defendant for exposing sheep affected wilh lice for sale on May 25, at Foilding. Defendant was convicted and fined 10s, aud costs 7s. A. K. Blundell v. Walter Mexted. A charge for exposing sheep affected with lice for sale at Palmerston N., on May 2nd. Convicted and fined 20s and costs 7s. Mr Mexted said he only had the sheep a fortnight. A. K. Blundell v. Hugh G. Shannou. Defendant was charged with exposing sheep affected with lice for sale, at Feildiug, on May 25. Convicted aud fined 20s and costs 7s. Mr Shannon explained that he did not kuow those sheep (180) were affected with lice. He had auother mob of 1000 in the yards the same day whicii wero not affected. The 180 were the only ones not dipped. A. K. Blundell v. A. Brown. A charge for exposing sheep affected with lice for sale, at Feilding, on Juue 8. Convictod and fined 20s and costs 7s. J. F. Foster, assistant ranger; to the Borough of Feilding, charged H. Derby with allowing cattle to stray ou Railway property at Bunnythorpe, ou June 1. Defeudaut, who pleaded guilty, promised not to allow* his cattle to trespass again, and was fined 20s, with costs 9s, and witness' expenses 3s. E. Jackman v. Schapleski Bros. ; Claim I*7 3s 3d. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff, and Mr Fitzherbert for defendants. Tbis case was adjourned from last Court day, and was a claim and counter claim. Plaintiff disputed certain charges made for oats, chaff, and paddocking. by defendants who engaged three of Jackmau's teams to work ou a contract at Stratford. Johu Schmidt gave evidence for the plaintiff, and Joseph Schapleski and Jacob Schapleski gave evidence for the defence. Left sitting.
