(Pfcß PRESS ASSOCIATION^ Auckland, June 18. At a meeting of the Auckland Women's Political League, a letter was received from the Premier in reply to the League's resolution regretting the proposed appointments to the Legislative Couucil. The Premier said in reply that tljerc was no occasion for regrets, as tho Government were not thinking of appointing any gentleman at preseut.
