This Day The officials of the Pastoralists' Union state that over fort} sheds in Queensland have completed shearing under the new agreement, while rpports from the early shearing districts in this colony indicate there will he no difficulty. Mklbouenk, June 1.1 Mr Spence, general Secretary of the Australasian Shearers' Union, interviewed respecting Mr Dangar 's statement, de clared that the bulk of pastoralists* were quite satisfied, and desirous of shearing under the old agreement, but that a few officials of the owners' Association were determined to force on a fight. The shearers bad known this for some time, and wore quite prepared. They would fight the thing out, but not on tbe same lines as the ltst 6trike He also stated that the Victorian Union as a body had refused to accept the new agreement and that the other colonies would support tbem.
