The following are the results :— St Leger ; winner £22, runnerup £10— J Drurnm's Hasty Girl (Boomerang — Jilt) beat J Crawshaw's Nitrate King (Kinsky — Bed o' Stone) and won. Forbury Cup ; winner £30, runner-up £12 — W. Harley's Pine Hut (Redpine— Flyj beat W. Cravel's Ledger Heeper (Kinsky) —Bed o' Stone.) Napibb, June 8. Hawke's Bay Steeplechase Handicap, of 300 soys. ; three miles and a hah* (weights).— Norton 12-11, Whalebone 11---6, Tiritea 11-3, Timothy 11-2, Booties 10-10, Victrix 10-9, Elk 10-8, Kapua 10-7, Dick 10-6, Somnambulist 10-6, Dromedary 10-3, Melinite 10 0, Dainty 9-12, Lonely 9-10, Oaklands 9.10, Unity 9*9, Morag 9-8, Kipo 9-7.
