-♦__ — _ 14 YEARS' IMPRISONMENT FOR ROBBERY. [PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Capetown, May 2. News has been received that Magatoa, a paramount chief of Zeutspansbergen, a large district lying in the northeast corner of the Transvaal, and who controls an army of 30,000 men, has determined to resist the coercion of the Transvaal. It is feared that any Boer reverse may cause a great native rebellion. June 3. An investigation by the High Commissioner into the alleged robbery of £1000 nnd the suppressing of the message of submission from the Jate King Lobengula's messengers by two Buchuanaland police troopers, lias resulted in the conviction of Troopers Wilson nnd Daniels, and a sentence of 14 years' imprisonment iranosed.
