A Prisoner Breaks out of Gaol.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, This Day. Samuel Trudgeon, a prisoner undergoing a sentence of three months for larceny at Pahiatua, escaped from the Greytown North police cell last night. He was to be tried there this morning on a charge of horse stealing but ef fected his escape by wrenching off the boards at the back of the cell, and, proceeding to the Constable's stable, took a horse and is now at liberty.
