The Unemployed.
(Per Press Association.) Cheistchuhch, May 21. In reply to a deputation, the Premier stated that he hoped he would be able, in the course of a few days, to do something to relieve the unemployed of Christchurcb. He said the difficult/ was much exaggerated, and spoke strongly of the need of self reliance, and of local bodies doing what they could before asking for subsi dies from Government.
