Wesleyan Conference.
(pee press association.) Adelaide, This Day. The Wesleyau Conference has decided to take steps to preach the Gospel to the coolies in Fiji, who at present aro stated to exercise a serious influence in the Mission there. The Rev. Mr Williams, of New Zealand, in the course of a speech stated that women suffrage had given the liquor trade such a severe shaking iv New Zealand that the retail trade was not worth more than six years purchase. A General Committee, appointed to consider the union of the Methodist Churches throughout Australia, recommends the appointment of Local Federal Councils for the removal and preventation of difficulties in the way of such union. The debate on the report was adjourned.
