The Weather.

(PEH PBKBS ASSOCIATION ) ; Welunqtok, May 16 Captain Edwin reports that the recent easterly weather in districts north of Napier, Taiipo and Raglan, has been caused by an extensive cyclonic bisturbance which has been travelling to the south east. Evidence now show that there is a barometric depression to the westward, which will probably cause high winds and rain in most parts of the country southward of Napier and New Plymouth between noon ! on the 18th and midnight on the 19th inst. An early eign of its approach will be the cessation of frosty weather ia the South Island.
