THIS DAY. (Before Mr Brabant, S.M.) J. Arnold and Co. v. John Corkhill ; claim £5 Is Bd. Mr Reade for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed with costs 28s and solicitors' fee 10s 6d. C. P. Jensen v. L. Roache ; claim i' 6 15s 6d. Mr Richmond for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed with costs 28s and solicitors' fee 15s. W. A. L. Bailey v. H. Adams ; claim £2 16s. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed with costs bs and solicitor's fee 15s. E. Martin v, E. Westwood ; claim £2 7s. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed, svith costs 6s, and solicitor's fee. A. L. Parr v. S. J. Thompson ; claim £6 7s 6d. Mr Reade for plaintiff. A contra account was put in by defendant, who said that Parr had been credited in defendant's books for it, and he considered Parr's claim was settled with this. Plaintiff denied the contra which was alleged to be owing by his father. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs 465, solicitors' fee 21s. F. E. Chamberlain v. C. W. Borrison ; claim i.'l 23s 9d. Mr Prior for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs £1, solicitor's fee 15s 6d. E. Jackman v. J. Schapleski ; claim £9 Sh 3d. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff and Mr FitzHerbert for defendant. E. Jackman deposed : Arranged with defendant's brother about sending teams to Stratford. Mr Fitzherbert raised the objection that Joseph Schapleski was sued.where. as Jacob Schapleski was the partner who made the arrangement, and argued that Jackman was asked to give evidence of the arrangement. Mr Fitzherbert contended tbis would prejudice bis claim as Jacob Schapleski was not present, he not haviflg been sued. The other brother should have been joined as defendanf. The plaint was altered to Joseph and Jacob Schapleski and adjourned to next court day. A, R. Allan and Co. v. R. Someryille ; a judgment summons, claim £i 8s 9d , Mr Reade for plaintiff and Mr Sandilands for defendant, Ordered to be paid at the rate of 5s per week. H. V. Pickering v. E. Whitehead. Mr Saudilands for complainant. Defendant was charged with having made and received certain alleged illegal charges for impoundage of plaintiff's cattlo. Order made that the sum of 8s be returned ; solicitor's fee 21s, witness' expense 7s, costs of court 9s. The Court then adjourned.
