-#— There are no less than twelve ports In New Zealand from which frozen meat is exported, and it must be grati fying to the settlers of this coast to find that Wanganui comes fourth in the list in regard to the amount of meat sent Home during the quarter ending the 31st March. From an authentic score we (Herald) get the following details of the export of meat during the first three months of this year from the ports named :—Wellington : 8,273,7521bs mutton, 965,1141bs lamb; Lyttelton : 5,425,G011bs mutton, 4,577,8931b51atnb; Napier, 3,576 9731bs mutton, 301, 7521bs lamb; Wanganui : 2,162,5331bs mutton, 86,2701bs lamb, 34,0381bs beef ; Timaru : 1,175,---3471bs mutton, 602,1421bs lamb; Oamaru: 769,0151bs mutton, 792,4731bs lamb ; Gisborne : 683,7421bs mutton ; Bluff: 661,4711bs mutton, 404,1741bs lamb ; Auckland : 523,3391bs mutton, 162,8851bs lamb, 5041bs beef ; Dunedin : 169,5491bs mutton, 316,5621bs lamb ; Picton : 26,621 lbs mutton, 74,---9851bs lamb.
