WANGANUI COLLEGIATE SCHOOL V. OROUA.

An Association football match was played on the Feilding Oval \esterday afternoon between teams representing the Wanganui Collegiate School and Oroua. Tho Wangauui school was represented by : goal-keeper, Peake ;. backs, Ivey and Hewitt (senr); halves Wilson, Andrews, Palmer; forwards, Williams (senr), McWilTiam, Marshall, Cooper, Uigginson (junr). Oroua : backs, Grey and J. C. Hare ; halves, Gibson, and Hayne ; forwards Myers, Hudson, Ceattie, Nossiter, Macfarlane and Daniels. The game very evenly contested throughout und it was very difficult to decide which was the better team, as may be judged from the result, neither side being able to score. Cooper was very noarly scoring for the visitors on several occasions and Daniels, Hare and Nossi ter tried hard to score for tho local team, while Grey and Hnro put in splendid work in defending their goal Andrews' play for tho school was very consistent and he was ably backed up by the team, who played well together. Mr Bryant acted as referee.
