A Dangerous Prisoner.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, May 2 At the Police Court, Antonio Rosa was charged with being found in tbe Tokopuru School ground at night with a loaded revol ?er and axe. Prisoner pleaded guilty. The bench sentenced him to twelve months' imprisonment. The same prisoner was further charged with damag j ing three telegraph poles at Te Kopuru by partly chopping them and burning one valued at £6 10*. Accused was committed for triul.
