Messrs Abraham and Williams report : — Our sales for the week were held at Colyton and Palmers toil. Business was dull at auction, but upon vendors reducing reserves almost the lot was sold privately. Cattle were only in fair demand. Palmerston.— Forward bullocks, £5 ; 2-year-old steers, £3 ; 2A to 3-year-old steers, £4 to £4 7s ; mixed yearlings, £2 2s ; weavers, 26s to 37s 6d. Forward wethers, 8s 5d ; cross-bred wethers, up to 6s 6d ; shorn lambs, 2s 5d to 4s 4d ; culls, Is ; ewes, Is KM to 6s Id ; forward ewes, good quality, 7s 7d.
