Annexation of Samoa.
(PEK PRESS ASSOCIATION.") London, April 23. The British press generally agree with the proposal submitted by the New Zealand Government for the annexation of Samoa. Sir George Grey is pleased with the attitude of the New Zealand Government over the Samoan difficulty, and expresses the belief that English-speaking people should control the whole of the Pacitic islands. Behlin, \pril 23. The Hanover Courier believes that tiermnny, in order to protect Gern,an interests, will reject New Zealand's request to annex Samoa. The Vossische Zeitung thinks the wisest course would be to acc-jpt New Zealand's oiler to take over the Samoau islands.
