Accidents and Fatalities.
(PES PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland. This Day. A singular fatality occurred last eight at tbe Old Maori Hostelry, Mechanic Bay, a mac, name unknown, was found dead in one of the rooms with his face covered with blood. The custodian heard the Bound of vomiting in tbe room and on going in found a man lying dead on the floor, hi* face covered with blood. A. medical man was unable to say whether the man broke a blood vessel or whether he had been struck. The custodiaohewd no signs of scuffling. A certjfiejft^madfr out in the name of Thofc (JTynn was found on the body. Later. The body found in the Maori hostelry has been identified as that of Thomas Glynn, formerly a miner at the Thames, and it is believed death was due to the bursting of a bloodvessel. Timaru, This Day. J. Pool, owner, and rider of the hurdleracer Rebel who had a bad fall at the races on April sth, died at the hospital yesterday .
