The Stock Market.

Mr Chas. Carr reports :— At Birmingham every yard was filled and the sale was very well attended. I have to report the same as other auctioneers that bidding was very slack, I however placed most of the pens after tho sale at prices in favour of the buyers. The Feiiding sale was the largest I have yet had the pleasure of holding. I being unwell with a bad cold, Mr Matthew Henry, auctioneer, Palmerston, very kindly waved tho hammer on my behalf. There was over 100 cattls and 10,000 sheep yarded, and the attendance was larger than I have seen on any former occasion. Bidding throughout was slack, vendors had to come down considerably below their reserves to do business. Most of the cattle and sheep however changed hands. CATTLE.
