«~ The Manawatu Farmers' Co-operative Association (Ltd ) report for the week ending April 6th :— Since our last report considerable quantities of all classes of produce have been offered, and in the majority of oasos sales have been effected. In some instances, however, growers are inclined to store and hold for better prices Our quotations are : — Wheat— Sound milling, 3s 3d to 3s sd ; whole fowls, 3s Id to 3s 3d ; broken fowl's, 2s lOd to 3s. Oats— Milling, 2a 2d to 2s 4d ; Duns, 2s 2d to 2a 3d ; light feed and inferior. Is 8d to Is lOd. Barley— Malting, 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; feed do., 2s 9d to 3s. DeansHorse band threshed, 3s to 3s 3d. Peas —Blue, 3s to 3s 3d ; Partridge, 3s to 8s 3d Maize— 4s to 4s 6d. Oatsheaf chaff — 65s to 703 Potatoes — 57s 6d to 6Q-< fof good samples of Derwents Bacon — Factory. 9d to 9£d ; hams, factory 9£d to lOd. cheese— Factory, 4-Jd to od. Tallow— 16s to 1 7s. Hides— 2d to 2^d. Fungus — 2£d lb. '
