Cricket News.
Tbe cricket season in this district was brought to a close ou Saturday last with a match between Mr Levett's Kiwitea team and a Feilding team, resulting in a win for tbe latter by 53 runs. Baillie was tbe top scorer for the winners with 57, and A. Barrow for the losers with 20. A. Barrow made a good " long stop," only letting one bail go past. Mesdames Lethbridge and J. C. Hill, assisted by several 3-oung ladies, provided afternoon tea for the cricketers. Following are the scores : — Feilding Teak.
