At the Trades Conference to-day, the Shearers Accommodation Bill, Inspection of Building Appliances Bill hiid Labour Department Bill wore considered In re* curd to the fii>t named, a resolution was passed to the effect that the attention of the Minister of Labor be drawn to the necessity for a condition being framed for tho guidance of the Inspector re sleeping accommodation and the number of cubic feet to be provided for each shearer. In the last-named Acts, the clauses rolat ing to recovery of penalties were taken ix ception to. The Bills agreed to otherwise, with trifling amendment.
