FEILDING JOCKEY CLUB'S AUTUMN MEETING. SECOND DAY. The weather yesterday was not so favorable for the second day's races as for the first. At about mid-day a light rain commenced to fall and continued the whole of the afternoon without ceasing, and it was almost impossible to distiuquish the horses when at the back of the course. The at tendance of the public was not near so large as it was on the first day, and no doubt the bad weather was the reason. The racing was very good, especially in the Oroua Handicap, Second Handicap Hurdles, and Shorts Handicap. In the Oroua Handicap, Pin rose made a splendid finish, but was kept too far behind in the early part of the race ; in fact lie was last by several lengths, and looked us if he was out of it altogether, but when three-quarters of a mile was travelled he came with a rush and finished about a head behind Cordelia. Mr E. Wood was again very successful in starting, and received congratulations on all sides. The only accident during the two days' racing was when Unity fell at the last jump in the Second Handicap Hurdles, giving his rider, Holmes, a severe shaking, besides being cut about the face. The sum of £2563 was put through the totalisator, making for both days a total of £5797, £3234 being put through the previous day. Last Easter £7108 was put through the machine, or £1311 more than this year.
