The New Huddart Service.
(PEE PEES-i ASSOCIATION.) London. March 23. Mr Huddart has engaged Mr R. S. White, designer of the s.s. Cam >ania, as nautical adviser in connection with the cou.structiou of the new 10,500 - ton steamers which ho proposes to have built. Financial experts declare that Mr Huddart has the brightest prospects of floating the scheme, and that the present time is opportune, as Australian shipowners hesitate to provide refrigerating apparatus on steamers, involving the sacrifice of a largo pro2>ortion of cargo space, unless continuous cargoes are guaranteed.
