The Premier at Auckland.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, March 22. ThH Premier and party arrived at DargariUe on Wednesday evening. Mr Seddon was interviewed by the executive of the Guradiggers' Com niittee, who asked that the Government would employ the diggers during the present depression. Mr Secldon s^iid .he waa considering the advisableness of opening land for settlement, and if there was any road making that would promote settlement it was desirable that that work should bo proceeded with.
