The Colonial Bank.

(Per Press Association). DtTNRDiN. March 18. The Directors of the Colonial Sank, in their half-yearly report, state that the net profits for the half year, alter making all due provision, is £20,476 19s. Adding £6434 12s 8d brought forward, and deducting £2119 17s 4d, tax on note circulation and land and income tax, the amount available is £24,791 14s 4d. The directors, recommend adding j£sooo to the reserve fund, and payment of a dividend of 7 per cent per annum on the paid-up capital, absorbing £14,000, leaving £5871 14s 4d to be carried forward.
