Assessment Court.

THIS DAY. (Before Mr Brabant, S.M ) A sitting of the above was held at the Feilding Court House this morning to assess objections to the rate roll of the Borough of Feilding. Mr G. C. Hill, Town Clerk, appeared as valuer on behalf of the Feilding Borough Council. The following objections were received : John Bishop objected to being valued at £13 for sections 34 and 35, 10 acres. Also, that the Masons owed lot 3, section 783. No appearance of objector and objections struck out — the latter as there were no trustees appointed to represent the Mason.s. The name of Charles Ncwall was substituted for that of Thomas Hall for section 28, Feilding. W. G. Shearer objected to being valued at £24 for section 399. Reduction made by consent to £20 10s. W. Jones objected to the valuation of £18 on section 350 as the house was burned down. Reduction made by consent to £3. These were all the objections.
