Sic George Dibbs has wired to Mr Patterson, objecting to the position taken up by the Victorian delegates at the Postal Conference, in reference to butter freights and mail contracts. Sir George considers the question of freights should uot be allowed to interfere with mail contracts, and requests that Mr Wynne be iustructcd to retire from the positiou he has taken up. Mr Paterson has replied, stating that he considers the question of freights more important thau that of mail contracts, and declines to interfere with the delegate.
