Postal Conference.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington. This Day. At the Conference this morning Mr Kidd (Wales), moved that the present Federal Mail services be continued for two years. The representatives of Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania advocated an extension for a year only in view of the developments of the freezing business, and the necessity for arranging further facilities for cool storage. Eventually the motion was iu this direction and 03,1x4 d. Mr Wynne (Victoria), moved that : — This conference requests the two companies bo furnifh cool storage space at lower rates of freight than now exist. The motion was carried unaniirously*
