(PEB PBSSB ASSOCIATION.} Wanoanui, March 5. The Premier has received a very cordial welcome from tho Natives. Topia, Keepa, and other chiefs, met and discussed with him the question of river improvements, and the formation of a town at Pipiriki. Mr Seddon told them plainly that the Government would not for a moment tolerate their taking the law into their own hands. It is expected that a fair adjustment as regards river improvements and township accommodation will result. The Natives have promised sufficient land for a school at Pipiriki, and have expressed themselves satisfied with the Government proposals
