Sheep at Palmerston.—Shorn lambs, 3s 3d to 4s; culls, ls 6d, in wool, 4s 6d to 5s ; good line of Romney ewes, 6-tooth to f.m., 7s 6d to 8s 6d; crossbred breeding ewes, 6-tooth to f.m., 6s 6d; 2-tooth wethers, 7s 9d to 8s 3d. Cattle—Weaners, 25s 6d to 32s ; 18---nionths old steers, £"2 12s; store cows, £3 2s; forward bullocks, ss. Shannon—Half-bred 6-tooth ewes, 6s 9d ; fat ewes, 6s 6d ; store ewes, 2s 5d to 3s 9d ; shorn lambs, 3s 8d ; culls, ls 6d. Colyton —2, 4, and 6-tooth ewes, 6s 7d ; others, ls 6d to 3s 3d; lambs in wool, 4s 6d ; culls, 2s 6d ; shorn lambs, 3s 6d ; fat ewes, 7s 6d.
