Football News.

The annual general meeting of the Feilding Football Club was held at Mrs Oliver's Empire Hotel last Saturday. There were about twenty members present. Mr Walter Bailey was voted to tbe chair. The minutes of the previous annual . and last committee meetings were read and confirmed. The Secretary, Mr W. Giesen, read the balance-sheet for the past year, showing that the receipts amounted to £\ 7 8s 2d and the expenditure JBI3 9s, leaving a balance on hand of £3 19s 2d. The report was adopted as read. Messrs Kelleher, Carty, Hayne, Wilson, and Barlow (2) were elected members of the club. The following officers were then elected :— Patron, Mr F. Y. Lothbridge ; President, Mr Walter A. L. Bailey ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs P. Bartholomew, Wm. Bailey, EL Goodbehere, J. Bagnall, Sherwill, and Bastings ; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr W. Giesen ; Captain, Mr Matheson; viceCaptain, Mr Matravers ; Match Committee, Messrs Saywell, Kelleher, and Fowler ; Managing Committer Messrs Kelleher, Fowler, Aijbken, JoTnrrttnd _._^ Joe Robinson, Richards, and Carty j delegates to Rugby Union, Messrs Matheson and Kelleher. The meeting closed with the usual vote to the chairman.
