Scobie Mackenzie's Services Recognised.

(PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunkdin, March 1. At a large gathering at Naseby of Mr Scobie Mackenzie's supporters aud others he was presented with a gold chronometer and Mrs Mackenzie with a piano. Mr Mackenzie, after acknowledging the gifts, spoke on the position of the Colony, avoiding controversial politics, and said he was sure the interests of all would bo attended to with scrupulous fidelity by the Minister for Lands.
