The West African Disaster.
(PEB PBESB ASSOCIATION.) London, February 28. News has been received that Colonel Corbett defeated a large body of natives, and after a two hours' fight drove them into the interior. Only three marines were wounded. Colonel Corbett's column had repeated encounters with the natives, who lost in | all about 150 men. The Queen is much grieved at the Bathurst disaster.
