Messrs Towneend and Paul report a large attendi uco t f bujcrs at their regular sile on Saturday, when they submitted the balance of Mr Wyhe's shipment from Sydney and Mr M'Guire s draught horses. For unbroken colts and fillies, .£•l2 to .£'l7 10s ; harness horses sold from £5 5s to i'l6 10s ; heavy draughts, £20 to .4*25. A thorough-bred colt, three years old, by Stockdale, found a buyer at i'lß, his half-brother (by the same sire) being passed in, the owner's reserve not beiug realised. Tone of market—Good for fresh, upstanding express, spring dray, and tram horses. A. O. Taiue and Co. report on the Wellington horse market as follows : — The entries at our j'ards consisted mostly of light harness horses and hacks and the; sale went rather stiff. We quote good heavy draught horses, i-20 to £25 ; medium do., £14 to -£17 ; harness, van, and spring carters, young, £15 to £20, for gootl sorts ; inferior and aged, .±'lo to .tl2 ; hacks, broken to sadle and harness, .£'lo to £15 ; aged and inferior, .£1 and upwards.
