The members of the Manchester Rifles are rernineled that Lieut.-Col. Ncwall will inspect the corps on Thursday next. Haversacks will he issued to those men who attend the Easter Encampment. Lieut. Burlacc has presented the company with a very handsome bugle. Yesterday afternoon a few members of the A Class of the Manchester Rifles had some practice with tho MartiniHenri rifles. Vol Scott made 57, 27 at f>oo and 30 at (300 ; Sergt F. Say well 54, 31 and 23 ; Vol Saywell 52, 28 and 24 ; Licnt Bray 48, 26 and 22. Vol Scott and Scrgt Saywell will be the only representatives of the Manchester Rifles at the New Zealand Rifle Association Meeting next month. They will leave Foildiug on Monday next.
