UNIONS v. FEILDING. Tbe Cup match between tbe Palmerston Unions and Feilding was played on the local ground on Saturday afternoon, aud resulted in a win for the latter by an iunings and 99 runs. Feilding went first to the wickets, and made a grand total of 175, of which Richards, who played a pretty innings, contributed 74, Henimingay (25), Giesen (not out 15), Baillie (15), Parr (14) also reaching double figures. Tho Unions only making 37 in the first attempt, followed on their second innings, but did not fare much better, only 39 being reached. For the Unions Ayrcs took six wickets for 81 runs, Newth _ for 39, Smith 1 for 15, and Buller 0 for 24. In the Union's first innings Burlace bowled 6 wickets for 15 runs, and Hill 4 for 14. In the second innings Richards took 5 wickets for 8 runs, Baillie 2 for 21, Burlace, 2 for 5, aud Hill 1 for 3.
