The Stock Market.
Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.. Johnsonville, report : The usual number of cattle came forward. The bullocks were fair to medium, no prime being yarded. Sheep were in large numbers, but no first class were in the pens, aud all sold at last sale's rates. Only a few pigs were entered. We quote : — Cattle — Bullocks, i.'6 15s to i' 7 7s 6d, or equal to 17s 6d to IBs the lOOlbs. Sheep.— Wethers, 10s Gd to 11s 6d ; ewes, 7s to 8s 6d ; store wethers, 8s 3d to 8s sd ; store ewes, 5s to 6s ; old ewes, 3s to 4s 6d ; fat lambs, 7s to 8s 9d ; stores, 3s 3d to 5s 6d. Store pigs, 14s 6d.
