Alleged Libel.
(PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, February 12 It is understood that a writ claiming £3000 damages for libel has been issued at the instance of Mr J. C. Kerry, the well-known New Guinea explorer, and served on Mr H. Brett, proprietor of the Auckland Star. The libel is alleged to have been contained in the Star of the Bth Deceui ber.
