Death of Inspector Morragh.
(PKB PRBB9 ASSOCIATION). WfLUNGTOS, This Day. Mr E. Morragh, Inspector of the Bank of Australasia, died rather suddenly this morning. The cause of death was failure of the heart's action. Mr Morrah had been complaining of feeling unwell lately, but attributed it to the hot weather, and thought very little of it. He went to the bathroom as usual at eight o'clock tbis morning, turned on the water, and, as was his custom, returned to his bedroom to lay down for a few moments until the bath filled, but soon after he gained the bed he gasped and expired. He had always enjoyed excellent health, and it was his boast that he never had been laid up in his life. He had been forty-two years in the service of the Bank, having joined in Victoria in 1831, and for the last eighteen years has been Inspector for New Zea'and. He leaves a wife and thirteen children, most of whom are grown up. In accordance with the Bank's rules he should have retired some years ago, but at the request of the Dir ctors, who recognised his great ability, he remained in the service. He was fc'4 yjpi's of age.
