Auckland, February 6 At tho inquest on the body of Robert Mellis, drowned b? the capsizing of the jacht Maggie off North Head on Satur« day, a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned. A rider was added that the jury were of tho opinion that great carelessness was exercised by thone on board in the management of the boat, also hoped that tbe services rendered by the Government Cautley prisoners, McLean and Williamson, who sayed one of the yachtraen, would be reeoguiaed by th Justice Department iv remission of por tions of their sentences.
