The Stock Market.

« Gorton and Son report: — We held three stock sales last week — at Martou, Mrs Campion's, and Bulls. At Martou the sale was dull, and though wo had very good lines of sheep in we could not quit them ; we sold a few cattle at fair prices. At Mrs Campion's the sale was without reserve, consequently everything was sold. The prices for the sheep were rather low, but for the milch cows the bidding was most spirited, and excellent figures were obtained. At Bulls on Saturday the sale was more brisk than recently at our yards. We sold everything excepting 2 or 3 head of cattle, aud 2 small pens of sheep. Our quotations are : — CATTLE. Martou— Mixed yearlings, .£2 3s ; mixed weaners, 335 ; cows in calf, £3 ; fat cows, I' 4 10s ; 2A -year heifers, £3 Is ; milkers 1 , A' 6. Mrs Campion's— Milch cows, various prices, from £5 8s to 1*10 ; many bringing over £8. Heifers just broken, £4 Is to £4 2s 6d ; 18 mouth to 2-year heifers, £3 to £3 13s ; 3-year steers, £\ Is ; year and 18 month mixed, .£2 12s ; weavers, 31s 6d. Bulls— Milkers, £5 to £8 10s 6d ; { mixed yearlings, £2 3s ; 2-year steers, £3 6s ; 2-year heifers, £2 ss ; 2\ to 3year steers, £3 14s; 3-year steers, £3 16s ; store cows, £2 17s 6s ; weaners, £1 to £1 11s. SHKKI'. Mrs Campion's — '2- tooth ewes, 7s 8d ; 2-tooth wethers, 7s 8d ; 4 to f.ui. ewes, 5s 9d to 6s ; lambs, 4s to 4s 2d. Bulls— 4 to f.m. ewes, 6s 5d to 6s Bd ; 2-tooth mixed, 8s ; 2-tooth ewes, 8s lOd ; lambs, 4s lid. vma. Mrs Campion's— Boar, £1 2s; sows, £1 Is to £2 7s. Bulls— B.s to 17s according to size. HORSES.
