CANTERBURY V. NEW SOUTH WALES. Chhistchurch, February 2. (PER FBRSS ASSOCIATION ) The rain started to fall early this morning, and continued without intermission until 2 p.m. Tne Captains met at 11 a.m., and again at 1 p.m., and agreed to postpone the game until 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, and to continue play on Monday. A cup match between the Sandon and Feilding Cricket Clubs which was to have been played on the local club's ground this afternoon, did not come off owing to the former Club being unable to muster a team. The Carnarvon and Colyton clubs play a cup match to-day at Carnarvon.
