; Messrs Albert Barns and Son report • as follows : — A decided improvement in 1 the tone of the stock market was notice- • able at our sale at Campbelltown on , Wednesday, the 81st uit. Cattle still sell well and are keenly competed for, [ whilst sheep and lambs sold at improved ' rates. We quote : — ] Cattle— Fat cows, plain to good, £3 ' lis to £7 16s; old cows, 60s to 60s; milkers, near calving, £4. 5s to £5 18s ; weaners, 21s. 1 Sheep — Fat ewes, 8s 8d to 8s lOd; breeding ewes, 6s, 7s, 8s 5d and 10s. Pigs— Porkers, 10s 6d to 20s ; suckers and weaners, 5s to 7s 6d.
