i ■ ■ (PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, January 27. Another affidavit has been filed in the Supreme Court by Kobt. Jas. Lindsay, relative to his promised withdrawal from the petition against Sir Robert Stout's election. In it he sets forth that he has given no 6ecuriiy for the prosecution of the petition and provided no funds for that purpose, nor has he authorised any person to give security for respondent's costs, and further that he does not know who gave security and has no means of paying costs ia event of his being ordered to do bo.
