Wool Sales.

The New Zealand Land Association (Limited), report on their third wool sale of the series as follows : — There was a very considerable increase upon the last sale of the quantity of wool offered, and taken all round there was a marked improvement in quantity. There was a large attendance of local and English, buyer?, and competition waa decidedly keen, especially for the better class of greasy crossbred. Merino was neglected and lambs' wool also realised scarcely such good prices as had been anticipated. Bearing in mind, however, the disappoint ment experienced by purchasers of last season, end the present appearance of the Home market for this class of wool, it may be considered that full values have been obtained. A total of 678 bales were offered, of which 305 were sold.
