m NEW SOUTH WALES V. HAWKES BAY. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION}. N api rb, January 25. The first innings of New South Wales closed for 176. The Hawke's Bay second innings commenced well, Marshall and Lusk scoring 17 and 23, but after they left the wickets there was a complete collapse, and the total -score was only 51. The visitors thus won by an innings and 13 runs. During the match yesterday, G. White, one of the Haw&e's Bay batenicn, had the little finger of his right hand broken while playing'^}, ball. He, however, continued his iuniugs, scoring 24 (not out). To-day the captain of the New South Wales team allowed Cotterill to take White's place. The famous " Scott " ranges are kept iv stock by C. Young, the cheap ironmonger, Manchester street, Feilding. The public are invited to inspect these ranges, which are a new make, and wherever used have given the greatest satisfaction.— Advt,
