Freeman K. Jackson and Co.'s stock report. — We had a large entry of sheep at our Waverley yards, and cattle were also fairly represented. At St Hill street only a few cattle came forward. On the whole cattle have maintained their values. Sheep are dull of sale, especially lambs. Pigs sold at full values. "We q^uote : — Cattle- At Waverley: Cows, £3 5s to .£4 ; heifers at calving. .I*4 10 to £& 10s ; young steers, £2 17s ; sveaners, 20s- At St Hill street : Fat cows, £3 15s ; steers, £3 to i:4 ; yearlings, £2 10s ; heifers, £3 7s 6d ; cows, £2 to £2 ;>s ; weauers, 235. Sheep — At Waverley : Lambs in wool, 5s to 5s 6d ; shorn, 4s Id to 4s 3d ; store wethers, 8s 6d ; ewes, (is 6d to 7s 9d. At Wauganui : Wethers, 8s 7d to 9s ; ewes, 7s to bs. Pigs — Good porkers, 26s to 35s ; small pigs, IBs to '21h ; baeouers, 41s. Poultry — Ducks, 2s 6d to 3s, and fowls Is 6d to 3s the couple.
